She said: “Dear Tess, I’m sorry for the hurt and issues that were caused back in 2010, I deeply regret creating a friendship with Vernon and allowing him to continue speaking to me the way he did.”
“As time passed, I regret not being wise enough or strong enough to deal with my own issues and insecurities myself, this leading into a downward spiral that Vernon tried to help me with.
“I know it takes two to tango but I could gave stopped contact,” she added.
The star said she took “full responsibility” for allowing “such behaviour”, adding: “I would never have taken the situation any further.
“However, it should never have got to the stage it did. It was disrespectful, hurtful and I can only apologise for my actions,” she concluded.
