Hollywood Star Jason Momoa Visits Gold Coast Wildlife Sanctuary
Celebrated Hollywood actor Jason Momoa recently made an appearance on Australia’s Gold Coast, delighting fans and wildlife enthusiasts alike. The star’s visit highlights his commitment to conservation efforts, particularly for vulnerable species like koalas.
Day at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
The 45-year-old actor spent a day at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the southern part of the Queensland city, earlier this week. His itinerary included a visit to the sanctuary’s dedicated Wildlife Hospital.
Momoa, whose latest cinematic project, A Minecraft Movie, is anticipated to reach the coveted billion-dollar milestone in box office earnings, was filmed interacting closely with a koala in a video shared on his Instagram profile.
“Oh man. That’s so cute. [It’s] a little baby,” the Aquaman leading man remarked in the video.
Ambassador for Koala Conservation
Momoa’s Currumbin visit was connected to his role as an ambassador for Nuii, a European ice cream brand. He is collaborating with the company to raise awareness about koala conservation, lending his voice to support their protection.

Minecraft Movie Sparks Cinema Disruptions
In related news, Momoa’s Minecraft film has recently been generating headlines due to instances of disruptive behavior by teenagers in cinemas.
Social media videos have documented young adults engaging in disorderly conduct, including removing clothing, throwing food, and shouting at the screen. This has resulted in widespread complaints from parents attending screenings with young children.
One particular scene in the movie has ignited a viral trend encouraging moviegoers to create disturbances when Jack Black’s character utters the phrase “Chicken jockey.”
A TikTok video captured teens becoming unruly before law enforcement escorted them from the premises.
Another video depicted a teenage patron throwing a large container of popcorn at other filmgoers attempting to watch the movie.
One cinema in the UK displayed a sign предупреждая patrons: “Disruptive behaviour, including participation in TikTok trends, before, during, or after a screening will not be tolerated. Individuals causing disturbances will be asked to leave, and police will be contacted if deemed necessary.”
