White House Press Conference Interrupted as Individual Collapses During Trump Remarks
A press briefing at the White House with former President Donald Trump was abruptly halted earlier today when an individual experienced a medical incident and collapsed. Reporters were quickly escorted from the Oval Office after officials recognized the situation. Video footage captured an official instructing journalists to leave, stating, “Out, out, press out,” as Mr. Trump observed from the podium.
Medical Emergency Halts Presidential Address
Video of the event was shared on social media by journalist Aaron Rupar. The footage, captioned: “Trump tells reporters their lives will be in great danger if Iran gets a nuke and then someone has a medical event and collapses, bringing the event to an abrupt close,” depicted the disruption.
The clip shows a concerned Mr. Trump approaching the area where the individual fell as attendees and staff hurried to provide assistance. The press conference followed the swearing-in ceremony of Dr. Mehmet Oz, the television personality, who is appointed to serve as administrator at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

It was reported that a member of Dr. Oz’s family appeared to lose consciousness but was aided in regaining their footing. She seemed unsteady as she was assisted out of the Oval Office.
The medical incident occurred while Mr. Trump was answering questions from the press on a range of topics. The White House later indicated that the individual was doing well, but did not release her identity.

Trump’s Remarks on Medicare, Medicaid, and Ukraine Conflict Preceding Incident
Prior to the young woman’s collapse, Mr. Trump witnessed Dr. Oz being sworn in by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The former president reiterated his pledge of “no cuts” to Medicare and Medicaid and acknowledged Dr. Oz’s “significant commitment” to public service.
Before the press conference was suspended, Mr. Trump informed reporters of his agreement with U.S. Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio that a resolution to the Ukraine-Russia conflict should be reached “expeditiously.”
He stated, “I have no specific timeframe, but rapidly. We want to achieve resolution.” The former president characterized the conflict as a “brutal battle” but expressed optimism about his capacity to “solve the problem.”
Peace Deal Efforts and Stance on Russia
Mr. Trump elaborated, “If, for any reason, one of the two involved parties complicates matters considerably, we will convey, ‘You are unwise. You are fools. You are terrible individuals, and we will withdraw from negotiations.’ However, we remain hopeful this course of action will be unnecessary.”
He did not specify the benchmarks required to sustain his involvement in brokering a peace agreement.
When questioned on whether he believed Russian President Vladimir Putin was delaying progress, the former president responded, “I hope not.”
