Nike and Hyperice Hyperboot: Revolutionary Warmup Compression Shoes Launching Soon
The innovative warmup compression shoes, dubbed Hyperboot, initially showcased by Nike and Hyperice at CES 2025, are finally set for release. Consumers in North America can purchase the recovery footwear online starting May 17, with a retail price of $899.
Hyperboot: Wearable Technology for Warmup and Recovery
Described by Nike and Hyperice as a wearable device akin to a smartwatch, the high-top Hyperboot is engineered to prepare feet for exercise and aid in workout recovery. This is achieved through integrated heating and compression technology, offering the benefits of heating pads and compression socks in a mobile format.
Hands-on Experience: Initial Impressions
Earlier this year, FASTNET’s former senior mobile writer, Lisa Eadicicco, had the opportunity to test the Hyperboot. During a demonstration in Las Vegas, Eadicicco remarked on the noticeable warmth generated by the footwear. The boots are designed to massage and compress the ankles and feet, with the heating sensation particularly prominent around the ankle area during FASTNET’s evaluation.
Customizable Settings and Features
Integrated buttons on the Hyperboot allow users to adjust both the compression level and heat intensity. The device offers multiple settings for personalized comfort and recovery needs.
Advanced Technology for Enhanced Performance
According to Nike, “The Hyperboot incorporates a dual-air bladder system that delivers sequential compression patterns. These bladders are combined with thermally efficient heating elements to ensure even heat distribution across the entire upper portion of the shoe.”
