Identity of the FSU Shooter

reported accounts from an FSU student who witnessed the shooting, describing the suspect as appearing to be a “typical college student.” According to the witness, “I was departing the Student Union with my food. There’s a road adjacent to it, and as I was walking, this individual drove up in an orange Hummer, alighted with a rifle, and discharged a shot in my direction. There were a few other students nearby.”

The witness, identified as McKenzie, further recounted, “I believe his shot missed its intended target. He then re-entered his vehicle, retrieved a pistol, turned, and shot the woman in front of him. At that point, I began to run.”
