Fortnite players are eagerly anticipating the launch of the Slurp Rush map for Reload, drawing inspiration from Chapter 2. Developer Epic Games has confirmed the release date for this new arena.
Slurp Rush Map Arrives April 15
Epic Games announced via a post on X that the Slurp Rush Reload map will be released on April 15. The announcement stated: “Rift in! A new Chapter 2-inspired map, unlimited Slurp, and double the rush coming to Reload. Tomorrow.” A gameplay trailer showcasing the compact map is available for viewing below.
Fortnite Downtime Scheduled for Hotfix Deployment
Alongside the Slurp Rush map release, Epic Games has announced a scheduled server downtime to implement a Hotfix.
Maintenance Timing
According to Epic Games, Fortnite will undergo maintenance to deploy the Hotfix at 11 am BST UK time on April 15.
“We’ll be taking a short downtime tomorrow at 6 AM ET while we deploy a hotfix,” Epic Games posted on X. “Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior.”

This Hotfix release occurs just one week after the launch of update 34.30, which introduced musical artist Sabrina Carpenter to the game.
