At 78, the oldest President the United States has ever seen has been deemed in ‘excellent’ health both physically and mentally by the White House doctor. Some of the most notable findings include Donald Trump’s astounding 20-pound weight loss, a perfect cognitive test score, normal heart function, but also some minor sun damage and scarring on his right ear from the assassination attempt that took place last year. The five-hour examination took place Friday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, overseen by Dr. Sean Barbabella.
His doctor, Captain Sean Barbabella, wrote: “President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function. His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being.
“President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”
Trump has lost 20 pounds since his last presidential physical, now weighing in at 224 pounds.
Standing 6 feet 3 inches tall, this puts him within a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 28 which is categorised as “overweight,” though some experts have criticised BMI as an unreliable sole indicator of health
