‘Price is Right’ Contestant’s Excitement Nearly Leads to Wardrobe Mishap
A highly enthusiastic participant on the popular game show “The Price is Right” experienced a minor fashion incident earlier this week. The contestant, identified as Christianne from Arkansas, displayed exuberant joy upon hearing her name announced to “come on down” and meet the show’s host, Drew Carey.
Moment of Excitement
Christianne’s elation was evident as she energetically jumped up and down upon being selected to join Drew Carey, 66, on stage. As she made her way to the stage to greet Carey, she was seen adjusting the top of her red and white checkered dress multiple times, seemingly to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.
Greeting Drew Carey
“Hi, right over here. How are you doing?” host Carey asked Christianne, in order to read her name tag. “I can’t see your name. What’s your name?”
After Christianne verbally provided her name, Carey warmly welcomed her, saying, “Nice to see you, Christianne. Welcome to the show.”
Near Wardrobe Malfunction
Throughout Carey’s introduction of the prizes available in the game, Christianne continued to discreetly adjust her dress, averting a potential wardrobe mishap. She was wearing a black jacket over the checkered dress, paired with an “America” hat in striking red lettering, and brown cowboy boots.

Playing “Do the Math”
Christianne then proceeded to participate in the game segment called “Do the Math.” In this game, she was tasked with determining whether the prices displayed for various electronics on stage were lower or higher than the actual retail value.
Victory and Relief
After successfully winning the game, Christianne once again expressed her excitement with jumps, this time consciously securing her dress to avoid any slippage.
Game Show Fails: Not the First Time
This “Price is Right” contestant is not the first individual to encounter an unexpected moment on a game show platform. In a separate incident last year on “Wheel of Fortune,” another contestant unintentionally provided a risqué response while attempting to solve a puzzle, which quickly went viral online.
‘Wheel of Fortune’ Risqué Answer
Last May, “Wheel of Fortune” contestant Tavaris Williams became an internet sensation after giving an unintentionally inappropriate answer during the initial toss-up puzzle.
Williams explained to Fox News Digital that his strategy was to buzz in quickly and let his mind catch up. “And when my brain was ready to speak, I saw the R, I saw the B, I saw the T. I went for ‘Right in the butt.’ … And once [host Pat Sajak] said ‘no,’ oh, it was the worst feeling,” he recounted with amusement.
The Puzzle Reveal
The puzzle board at the time displayed the phrase with missing letters: “_ _ _ _ /I _ /T _ E /B _ _ T!” Hostess Vanna White revealed the letters for the phrase.
Without hesitation, Williams buzzed in and confidently declared, “Right in the butt.”
Audience Reaction
Williams’ answer was initially met with a brief moment of silence, which then erupted into audience laughter. Fellow contestant Tyra exclaimed “What?” while host Pat Sajak definitively responded “no” with a surprised expression on his face.
The Correct Solution
The correct answer to the puzzle was revealed to be “T H I S / I S / T H E / B E S T !”
Williams reflected on the pressure of the moment, saying, “None of those common sense [thoughts like], ‘Well, there wasn’t enough letters for the word “right”’ [or] ‘This is a family show.’ None of that is going through your head when you have 50 monitors above you, the lights are extra bright, there are 100 stagehands, there’s producers, there’s sound guys.”
He concluded, “And I was standing next to Pat, so I had to say something. I wasn’t going to get buzzed without saying something. And the rest is history.”
