Russian Missile Attack on Sumy Leaves Dozens Dead and Injured

Ukrainian emergency services reported that a Russian ballistic missile attack on the northeastern city of Sumy resulted in the deaths of over 30 individuals and injuries to many more. The strike hit Sumy, a city located approximately 48 kilometers (30 miles) from the Russian border.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated via his Telegram channel that Russia targeted the center of Sumy on Palm Sunday, a significant religious holiday commemorating the Christian holiday of the Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem.
