Nursing influencer Hailey Okula‘s husband, Matthew Okula, has pledged to share memories of her “amazing” life with their son following her recent passing.
Matthew Okula, who announced on Instagram on Tuesday, April 1, that Hailey had died “due to childbirth-related complications,” used the social media platform to honor his late wife on Tuesday, April 8.
“Words cannot fully convey the immensity of this loss, but I want to pause to celebrate the most incredible woman—my wife, Hailey ❤️,” he wrote as a caption to a video montage featuring cherished moments the couple shared. “I promise to recount your story to Crew—detailing your spirit, your strength, your compassion, and the extraordinary adventures we experienced together. Matthew’s heartfelt tribute followed his interview with Fox 11 Los Angeles, which reported on Wednesday, April 2, that Hailey briefly met her newborn son on March 29, just prior to her death. “She was able to see him momentarily, a memory I will forever hold dear,” Matthew shared with the news outlet. “It all occurred with such speed and unexpectedness.”
