Mahdi Eslamimehr, Executive Vice President at Quandary Peak Research and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science at USC, suggests Amazon is well-positioned to compete with Starlink. He stated, “Amazon has secured substantial launch agreements with major providers like United Launch Alliance (ULA), Arianespace, Blue Origin, and even SpaceX, establishing Kuiper as a formidable contender due to its extensive infrastructure and considerable resources.”
Eslamimehr further commented, “While Starlink currently maintains market dominance, it is facing increasing competition from well-funded and strategically adaptable rivals, notably from China, indicating that the market is poised for significantly enhanced competition in the near future.”
