The combined net worth of the top 10 richest individuals in Africa currently stands at $87.6 billion, with projections indicating further growth in the years ahead. Nigerian industrialist Aliko Dangote continues to lead as Africa’s wealthiest person, with his personal fortune reaching $23.9 billion, up from $13.9 billion the previous year.

Aliko Dangote has maintained his position as the richest man in Africa for the 14th consecutive year. Dangote has further distinguished himself by venturing into oil refining, challenging previous governmental monopolies and developing the largest petroleum refinery in Africa.

South African luxury goods magnate Johann Rupert secures the second position on the list. His wealth experienced a substantial increase of 39%, reaching $14 billion.
