Tragically, Baseball World Series champion Octavio Dotel was among those who died after being recovered from the nightclub debris, as reported by the Mirror.

Massive Emergency Response Deployed

El Dia newspaper reported a significant emergency response mobilization, including 77 ambulances, eight fire department vehicles, 30 Civil Defence rescuers, approximately 200 National Police officers, and around 50 military personnel deployed to the scene.

Hospitals on High Alert

Eight medical facilities were placed on high alert to receive and treat casualties from the nightclub collapse. The injured were transported to medical centers including Cuban, Royal, Modern, and UCE hospitals to receive urgent medical attention.
