Culinary Delights
Diverse Dining Venues
The hotel features three distinct dining venues: The Bay Restaurant, The Bay Bar, and the seasonal Petit Port Cafe, open from May to September.
The Bay Restaurant
The Bay Restaurant, a destination in itself, showcases bay vistas from its dining room. The culinary team prides itself on preparing dishes using fresh, locally sourced seafood and produce, offering a true taste of Jersey.
The Bay Bar and Petit Port Cafe
Guests can relax in The Bay Bar, which provides a selection of meals, beverages, and nightly entertainment. The Petit Port Cafe offers patrons views of both the hotel’s main pool and St. Brelade’s Bay, creating an ideal setting for summer days. It is a favored spot for both hotel residents and visitors, serving light lunches, substantial dinners, and refreshing cocktails.
A wide array of dining options are available at the hotel
During our stay, we enjoyed dinner at The Bay Restaurant. Appetizer selections included soup of the day, salt and pepper squid, and seared local scallops. Main course highlights featured the fresh catch of the day, half a local lobster, truffled pasta, and pan-roasted chicken breast supreme. The salmon was exceptionally flavorful, and the chicken supreme was tender and succulent.
Desserts were equally impressive, with choices like limoncello pistachio blueberry tiramisu, cherry bakewell pudding, and blood orange and chocolate delice. The quality of the cuisine was outstanding, complemented by the impeccable service from the staff.
The hotel also provides prompt room service with an extensive menu, including select items available around the clock. Guests staying over the weekend should consider the Sunday lunch menu.
Each morning, the hotel offers a continental buffet breakfast, alongside freshly prepared pancakes, waffles, omelets, and more. The breakfast buffet selection stood out as one of the most comprehensive we have encountered, with fresh pastries, full English breakfast options, fruits, cereals, and cured meats.

Final Verdict
It is truly challenging to fully convey the exceptional quality of this hotel. Every aspect, from the staff and location to the amenities and dining choices, contributed to a supremely comfortable and relaxing stay. The guest rooms provide a restful haven for both short escapes and extended visits, with unique details in each room adding a thoughtful, home-like ambiance. The reception area is equally inviting, featuring ample sofas and armchairs for relaxation, and the gardens are immaculately kept.
This hotel is faultless, and I eagerly anticipate a return visit for another tranquil retreat. For those planning a relaxing getaway with scenery comparable to the Canary Islands, this hotel is an essential destination this year. However, note that it becomes very popular in the summer, so advance booking is highly recommended to secure your reservation.
