In a statement released via the social media platform X on Sunday, President Macron asserted that Russia’s attacks “must come to an end.”
“A ceasefire is imperative as swiftly as possible,” Macron stated, adding, “and strong measures if Russia continues to attempt to stall and reject peace.”

Macron’s declaration follows a recent Russian strike on Kyiv on Sunday. The assault resulted in one fatality and left three individuals injured.
Escalating Russian Attacks Reported by Zelenskyy
