Moscow’s Defence Ministry has alleged that Kyiv launched fresh drone assaults on energy infrastructure in Russia’s Belgorod region and the Russian-controlled part of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region.

Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is failing to honour its pledge to a ceasefire targeting energy infrastructure. He asserted, “I’ve instructed our side to transmit information through various institutions concerning Russia’s breaches of the agreement not to strike energy facilities.”

Mr. Zelensky further noted that reports have been dispatched on a near-daily basis. He explained, “We are sharing this information with the United States, and we observe that America is beginning to understand the situation.”

Authorities reported that overnight, Russia did not deploy Shahed drones against Ukraine, marking the first instance in over five months.

Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Counter-Disinformation branch of Ukraine’s Security Council, detected no alteration in Russian strategy. He stated in a Telegram post: “For now, this signifies nothing.”
