Leonardo DiCaprio Unveils Surprise Makeover at CinemaCon 2025
Las Vegas, NV – Leonardo DiCaprio, the acclaimed actor, debuted a surprising midlife makeover at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas. The 50-year-old Hollywood star, known for his roles since childhood, appeared to have undergone a hair transformation as he graced the red carpet. This notable change in appearance coincided with his promotion of the upcoming film, One Battle After Another.
New Look Debuts at CinemaCon
DiCaprio, whose girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti is 26 years his junior, showcased what seemed to be newly dyed hair, complemented by tinted facial hair. He posed alongside his One Battle After Another co-stars Teyana Taylor, 34, and Regina Hall, 54, further highlighting his fresh appearance.
For the CinemaCon event, DiCaprio adopted a classic, monochromatic style. He sported an all-black ensemble, featuring a buttoned, long-sleeve suede jacket paired with matching trousers. Shiny black dress shoes completed his timeless look.
Co-stars’ Fashion Statements
Teyana Taylor and Regina Hall also turned heads with their distinct fashion choices at the CinemaCon gathering.
Taylor made a bold statement in a textured navy blue coat dress, accentuated with striking gold hardware.
Hall opted for a softer palette, wearing a pastel blue satin blouse tucked into loose-fitting silver sequin pants, creating a contrasting yet elegant effect.
One Battle After Another: A Glimpse into the Film
During the event, DiCaprio discussed One Battle After Another, suggesting that filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson has “tapped into something politically and culturally that’s burning beneath our psyche.”
Attendees at CinemaCon were treated to additional previews of the movie, following the trailer release in late March, which DiCaprio used to launch his YouTube channel. The film centers on DiCaprio’s character, a rebel on a mission to rescue his abducted daughter.
According to reports from Variety, further scenes from One Battle After Another were unveiled at Tuesday’s CinemaCon presentation.
One scene depicted DiCaprio’s character struggling to recall a crucial code word intended to rally a group of radicals to his aid.
“I fried my brain,” DiCaprio admitted in a phone conversation within the scene. “I have abused drugs and alcohol for the past 30 years. I am a drug and alcohol lover.”
However, the voice on the other end of the line offered no sympathy, criticizing him for being overly aggressive.
Film Details and Release
One Battle After Another is based on Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel, Vineland.
Anderson both wrote and directed the film, which had a production budget of $140 million.
Filming utilized 35mm film and VistaVision cameras, taking place in California and El Paso, Texas.
Originally scheduled for an August 8 release, the movie premiere has been moved to September 26.
This latest project marks DiCaprio’s first leading role since 2023’s Killers of the Flower Moon, which garnered 10 Oscar nominations, further solidifying his status in Hollywood.
