Wheeler Dealers New Series: Mike Brewer Hints at Summer Premiere

Fans of classic car restoration program Wheeler Dealers can rejoice as presenter Mike Brewer has strongly suggested the new series will debut this summer. The television personality revealed the anticipated timeframe on social media platform X, in response to a fan query regarding the return of the beloved show.

Production to Commence Soon

Brewer further disclosed that production for the upcoming season is slated to begin in the coming weeks. A summer launch would place the premiere approximately eighteen months after the conclusion of the previous series. Series 18 wrapped up in December 2023, featuring Brewer and co-host Marc Priestley’s restoration of a Peugeot 405.

Social Media Confirmation

The revelation came in response to a direct question from social media user @clearancewhole, who inquired: “When’s the next TV series Mike?”

Brewer swiftly replied, stating: “We start making it in the next few weeks, so I would guess sometime later in the summer.”

Enthusiastic Wheeler Dealers viewers quickly reacted to the news, expressing their excitement for the forthcoming episodes.

  • @steveburnley commented: “Great to hear Mike, hope you’re keeping well fella.”
  • @AndrewMcGuinn11 reacted: “Looking forward to seeing that Mike.”

Details Emerge from Various Outlets

Brewer had recently hinted at details concerning the new series during filming for his One Automotive YouTube channel.

Discussing his schedule, Brewer mentioned: “I’ve got a lot of filming this week to do as well so I’ve got a lot to do.”

Earlier in the year, Brewer initially alluded to a new UK-based Wheeler Dealers series in an in-depth interview on The Road to Success podcast.

He elaborated: “We will, of course, do a UK show because this is our territory; it’s more economical and straightforward for us to film here.”

Wheeler Dealers: World Tour to Return

In addition to the UK series, Brewer has also confirmed the return of a second season of their World Tour program in 2025.

Last year’s World Tour saw Brewer and Priestley journey across the globe, acquiring and refurbishing various vehicles.

Brewer has indicated that the upcoming World Tour series will feature locations in Latin American nations such as Mexico and Brazil.

Global Destinations Planned

Future episodes are also slated to include visits to the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Germany.

Brewer previously stated regarding filming locations: “We will, of course, do a UK show because this is our territory; it’s more economical and straightforward for us to film here.”

“Put it this way, we’re coming down to Latin America, we’re going all across Europe, and we’re touching the edge of Europe as well. I can’t wait, that’s going to be good.”
