Gris Guerrero, Jesus’ sister, publicly announced her brother’s passing on February 22 by creating a GoFundMe campaign to assist with covering the costs associated with the celebrity stylist’s funeral arrangements.
“With profound sadness, we share the news of Jesus Guerrero’s passing,” Gris wrote on the GoFundMe page. “He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, artist, and friend. His loss is deeply felt.”

Following Jesus’s untimely death, reports emerged indicating Jenner’s offer to cover all funeral expenses for her beloved friend.
In a prior interview with Us Weekly, Gris expressed gratitude for the support from Jenner and Lopez in the wake of Jesus’s passing.
“[Jenner] has been incredibly supportive, offering assistance with anything we require. Jesus was family to her, and she reciprocated that sentiment,” Gris shared with Us. “She has maintained constant communication and been available for any questions or needs. Her priority is honoring Jesus’s memory and ensuring he receives a fitting farewell.”
Gris further revealed that Lopez also extended her support, “guiding us through the necessary arrangements, alongside others offering their assistance.”

Gris mentioned to Us the existence of “unanswered questions” pertaining to her brother’s death, suggesting “it may require time to gain clarity and understanding.”
“We are receiving assistance in seeking answers, but it remains a waiting process for everyone involved to determine the circumstances,” she explained.
According to Gris, her brother had been hospitalized for an unidentified illness leading up to his death. “We have traced his recent movements, yet the cause of his illness remains unknown,” she stated. “The onset was sudden, leaving everyone searching for answers.”

Jenner publicly honored Jesus on Instagram on February 25, describing him as “more than just my friend.”
