Kanye West Sparks Further Controversy with KKK Costume and Antisemitic Remarks
American rapper Kanye West ignited fresh controversy after appearing in a Ku Klux Klan (KKK) costume, complete with robes and a pointed hood featuring narrow eye openings. This latest incident follows a series of contentious actions by the musician, who further accentuated the outfit with a swastika pendant, a notorious emblem of Nazi Germany. West, who previously provoked widespread condemnation for suggesting slavery was “a choice” and making antisemitic comments that led to suspensions from social media platforms, also voiced critical remarks about his former wife, Kim Kardashian.
Regret Over Children and Custody Concerns
During an interview with podcaster DJ Akademiks, West expressed regret about having four children with Kardashian, asserting that he now lacks “say-so” in their upbringing. He stated, “That was my fault. I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her, but that wasn’t God’s plan.” He also lamented that his children were the only “brand” over which he had no authority, implying he should have “at least fifty-fifty” control.
Reports indicate that Kardashian took urgent legal measures upon learning that their eldest child, North West, contributed vocals to a song featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs while under West’s supervision.
Clash Over North West’s Music and Diddy Collaboration
Combs is currently facing legal proceedings and detained while awaiting trial on charges of rape and sex trafficking, allegations he vehemently denies. Furthermore, video evidence previously emerged appearing to show Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie. West responded angrily to Kardashian’s objections regarding North’s involvement in the track, arguing in his recent interview: “My kids are celebrities and I don’t have the say so.”
He further added, “This white woman and this white family have control of these highly influential black kids that are half the children of Ye.”
Leaked text messages reportedly show Kardashian informing West of her attempts to prevent North’s vocals from being included on the track with Combs, citing a desire to “protect” her.
Concerns Over Social Media Influencers and North’s Well-being
Kardashian also reportedly removed North from West’s care after discovering that controversial social media personalities Andrew and Tristan Tate were visiting West while North was present. The Tate brothers face sex trafficking charges in Romania, which they continue to deny.
Dispute Over Music Projects and Child’s Image
While Kardashian reportedly voiced opposition to North’s voice being used for ‘Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine,’ which also features vocals from Combs and his son Christian “King”, West is reportedly displeased with Kardashian’s decision to allow North to participate in FKA Twigs’ ‘Childlike Things’.
North’s cameo in the latter project involves her speaking Japanese. However, West has contended that the video is inappropriate, alleging it portrays the 11-year-old “dressing all grown”.
Kardashian’s Apprehension and West’s Past Controversies
Sources suggest Kardashian is “terrified” regarding West’s future actions and statements, particularly given his prior diagnoses of bipolar disorder and autism.
West has previously incited outrage by stating on social media that he was a “Nazi” who “loves Hitler”.
