Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), Marina Del Rey Station, responded to a reported domestic dispute at Delaney’s home on Saturday around 9:45 a.m., according to official reports.
Following an inquiry at the scene, law enforcement officials detained Delaney for alleged assault with a deadly weapon. Her companion, James Morgan, was also taken into custody and charged with battery.
Booking and Legal Proceedings
Delaney was processed at the Marina del Rey Sheriff’s Station at approximately 10:15 a.m. Saturday. She faces charges related to assault likely to cause significant bodily harm.
The actress, recognized for her portrayal in “NYPD Blue,” was assigned holding at the station at 11:30 a.m. and, according to the LASD, remains in custody as of Saturday.
Morgan secured release on Saturday after posting a $20,000 bond. Both Delaney and Morgan are scheduled to appear in court on April 1 to address the charges.

According to reports from TMZ, the arrests of Delaney and Morgan at their Marina del Rey residence stemmed from what is described as a “heated argument that turned physical.” News outlets indicate that paramedics were dispatched to the location to assess potential injuries.
Representatives for Delaney have not yet responded to requests for comment.
