Malia Obama Back in Hollywood Spotlight

Malia Obama, daughter of former President Barack Obama, has once again entered the Hollywood scene. The aspiring filmmaker made a publicized appearance at a Los Angeles screening of the forthcoming movie, Sorry, Baby, on March 28. This event marked a relatively uncommon showing in the public eye for the former First Daughter.

Attends Screening of ‘Sorry, Baby’

The 26-year-old, older sister of Sasha Obama, 23, was pictured at the event alongside Eva Victor, who directed, wrote, and stars in the drama. For the screening, Malia chose a black blazer layered over a coordinating cardigan and short skirt, complemented by black tights.

Public Appearance at Los Angeles Event

While she is not listed in the film’s credits, Sorry, Baby is scheduled for release on June 27.

Prior to this, Malia Obama’s most recent appearance at a high-profile event was in September.

Previous Film Festival Appearance

At that time, Malia graced the red carpet at the 2024 Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France. She was present at a showing of her short film, The Heart. Furthermore, she was presented with the Young Spirit Award for this project, which signified her debut as a director. The Heart centers on a solitary man mourning his mother’s passing, dealing with an unusual request detailed in her will.
