AI Limit: How to Respec Your Character and Change Builds
Experimenting with diverse character builds, weapons, and spells is a core element of role-playing games. For players eager to explore new builds in AI Limit, the ability to respec is available, albeit not immediately. While AI Limit does allow players to reallocate their stats and skills through a feature called “Ability Reconstruction,” this option unlocks later in the game.
Unlocking Ability Reconstruction in AI Limit
Before players can access “Ability Reconstruction,” AI Limit’s term for respecing, considerable game progression is necessary. This feature typically becomes available when players reach levels 30 to 50, depending on their gameplay style and experience point allocation.
Locating the Crystal Sprout
To respec your character, you must first acquire the Crystal Sprout item. This key item is found within a large greenhouse situated in the Weathered Forest region. To reach this location, take the train from the Flooded Street area of the Sunken City.
Navigating the Weathered Forest
The Weathered Forest is characterized as a hazardous poison swamp, abundant with discoveries and activities both at ground level and in the treetop settlement above. While thorough exploration of this region is encouraged for valuable items, the primary objective for respecing is to obtain the Crystal Sprout. Proceed along the main path until you arrive at the Twilight Foothills Branch.
Acquiring the Crystal Sprout
Upon reaching the Twilight Foothills Branch, rest if needed, and then continue upwards via ladders to a prominent dome-shaped structure, the greenhouse. Enter the greenhouse. Although the ground floor door is locked, utilize ramps on either side of the interior to ascend to an elevated circular area. The Crystal Sprout, identifiable as a glowing purple item, will be located here.
Performing Ability Reconstruction
Once the Crystal Sprout is in your inventory, travel to any Branch location in the game and rest. You will now find that “Ability Reconstruction” has been added to the rest menu. Selecting this option allows you to respec your character attributes without any cost, offering a player-friendly system unlike some soulslike games that demand rare consumables for stat reallocation.
Experiment with Different Builds
The diverse range of special attack skills and modifiers ensures that almost every weapon in AI Limit offers a distinct gameplay experience. Players are encouraged to experiment and discover the surprisingly numerous and effective character builds possible within the game.
