Justice Department Appeals to Supreme Court Over Deportation Pause
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has formally requested the Supreme Court to reverse a lower court’s mandate that temporarily halted deportations under the Alien Enemies Act. This legal action seeks to overturn an order issued by Judge Boasberg, which has currently suspended the removal of individuals under this act.
