The Chosen season 5 is scheduled for release around Easter, commencing with a staggered rollout. In a departure from previous seasons, this eight-episode season is being presented in three distinct parts for theatrical release prior to streaming.
In the United States and Canada, the initial segment of season five, encompassing episodes one and two, will premiere in cinemas starting March 28. The subsequent two parts will then be launched in cinemas across the region over the following weeks.

In part two, Jesus engages with the public through his teachings, while religious authorities attempt to misinterpret his words and undermine his message. The conspiracy against Jesus intensifies as Caiaphas, fearing public disorder and further erosion of his authority, resolves to arrest him. Caiaphas seeks an individual to betray Jesus and facilitate his capture.
Part 3: Passover Gathering and Judas’ Betrayal
Part three portrays Jesus’ followers gathering for Passover, unaware that his enemies are actively pursuing him. As Jesus establishes the New Covenant with his disciples, Judas (Luke Dimyan) makes a pivotal and devastating decision, setting in motion events with profound consequences for all.
