The multi-talented pop star’s wife, Brigitte Poublon, shared the somber news via a Facebook post on Tuesday, revealing the health condition of the former heartthrob.

In her online message to Bobby Sherman’s fans, Poublon stated, “To all of Bobby Sherman’s cherished fans, as many of you know, Bobby has been retired for some time and is no longer able to participate in cameos, sign autographs, or make public appearances. It is with a heavy heart that we share Bobby has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.”
The social media post included a classic black and white portrait of Sherman from his younger years, alongside a separate close-up photograph highlighting his distinctive blue eyes.
“During this challenging time, we respectfully request your understanding and privacy,” Poublon continued. “Thank you sincerely for your continued remembrance of him. We deeply appreciate it.”
