Nikki Glaser, 40, shares shocking images of what she looked like before plastic surgery and spray tans

Nikki Glaser Reveals Transformation in Throwback Photos, Discusses Plastic Surgery

Comedienne Nikki Glaser, known for her stand-up and television appearances, recently shared a series of Instagram photos showcasing a significant evolution in her appearance. The 40-year-old personality contrasted images from her 2009 debut on “The Tonight Show” with her recent appearance on the same late-night program, highlighting a noticeable transformation. Glaser, who has openly discussed cosmetic procedures in the past, sparked discussion about beauty standards and personal choices regarding aesthetic enhancements.

Dramatic Transformation Highlighted in “Tonight Show” Throwbacks

Glaser’s Instagram post featured side-by-side comparisons of her appearances on “The Tonight Show” across different eras. The older images, from January 2009, presented a stark contrast to her more recent March 2025 appearance. In her earlier television appearance, Glaser presented a different aesthetic. She appeared paler, less sculpted, and sported reddish hair, with a noticeably different nose.

The TV personality captioned the post: “First Tonight Show Jan 2009 ———-> Latest Tonight Show Mar 2025 ✨.”

Openness About Cosmetic Enhancements

The friend of Gwyneth Paltrow has publicly acknowledged undergoing plastic surgery. Adding to this transparency, during a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show” hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Glaser revealed her plans for a future cosmetic procedure.

In response to Fallon’s compliment on her appearance, Glaser quipped, “Wait till the facelift,” adding, “That’s coming. August 2026. I’m gonna do it. I have no problem with that.”

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

She elaborated on her approach to cosmetic surgery, suggesting a subtle execution: “You’ve got to do it subtly, so they go, ‘What’s she doing?’ and you can just go, ‘Just meditating more. I’m doing the type of meditation that removes your eyelid skin.'”

Glaser continued facetiously, mimicking typical evasive responses: “‘That’s what they say, ‘I’m drinking more water. I’m just working on my gut health, so my brow has been lowered two inches.'”

Plastic Surgery as a “Wise Investment”

Glaser defended her perspective on cosmetic surgery, labeling it “a wise investment.”

“There’s kind of a stigma around getting face work or investing in your beauty and doing all these procedures,” she observed. “And there is maybe a little bit of a sadness to it, but I kind of also am like, ‘Well, it makes my life better.'”

She then stated candidly, “People treat you better when you’re hotter. It’s just a fact. It’s a sad fact of life.”

Glaser indicated a rejection of solely embracing natural beauty, expressing a preference for proactively altering her appearance.

She elaborated, countering criticisms of cosmetic surgery: “And everyone goes, ‘That’s so sad, why don’t you love the way you were born?’ and it’s like ‘Well, why did you go to college? Why don’t you love the brain you were born with? Why did you pay thousands of dollars to that institution?'”

Pro-Ozempic Stance

Glaser also voiced her support for Ozempic, a medication often used for weight management.

“Oh, I love it, I love it. I’m like, do it, do it. I have no judgment,” she declared.

“If you want to do Ozempic, hell yeah, girl. I want people to feel more comfortable talking about doing it, because I feel like there’s, like, this shame — and the shame is only from thin people who want you to stay fat. Like that’s really where it’s coming from.”

She criticized those who judge individuals using Ozempic for weight loss:

“They are so mad that you’re getting thin now, because that’s all they have, right? They are so mad, but they can’t say it. They just go, ‘No! You’re stealing medicine from diabetics who need it.’ Like, that’s their excuse,” she continued.

Glaser offered a humorous take on the criticism, referencing actress Kathy Bates: “No, I think you’re upset that Kathy Bates has a thigh gap. That’s more what it could be about, I think.”

Golden Globes Hosting and Brow Lift Delay

Glaser’s comments come after she mentioned postponing a brow lift to accommodate hosting duties for the upcoming 2025 Golden Globe Awards.

“For January 2025, I was going to possibly have, like, a brow lift or some kind of, like, really invasive surgery that I’ve been, you know, looking into getting,” she stated.

However, the opportunity to host the prestigious awards show prompted a reevaluation of her priorities.

Recounting the moment she learned of the hosting possibility, she noted the significance of multiple agents calling: “When it’s two, you know it’s good news, because when it’s bad news, they just make one person do it, cause no one wants to do that!”

“And they’re like, ‘So, this operation, is there any way you could push it ’til maybe the second week of January.'”

Glaser embraced the chance to host the Golden Globes, expressing confidence in her ability to succeed in the role. She stated, “I’m gonna nail it. Maybe I won’t nail it in some people’s eyes, but I will have nailed it in my eyes because I have set up a system leading up to it that I couldn’t possibly work harder on it.”

Even addressing potential nervousness, Glaser affirmed her resilience: “and even if she gets nervous, the blonde vixen says she ‘thrive[s] on anxiety.'”
