Quora’s Poe launches its most affordable subscription plan for $5/month

Poe Unveils Economical and Premium Subscription Options for Chatbot App

Poe, Quora’s innovative chatbot application, has introduced a new range of subscription plans, including a highly accessible entry-level option priced at just $5 per month. This announcement also includes a premium tier at $250 per month, catering to users with substantial messaging demands on the platform.

Expanded Subscription Tiers Cater to Diverse User Needs

The platform, known as Poe (Platform for Open Exploration), provides users with access to a selection of advanced AI models. These include sophisticated options such as DeepSeek-R1, GPT-4o, Claude 3.7 Sonnet, o3-mini, and ElevenLabs, all within a unified interface. Poe operates using a points-based system, allowing subscribers to allocate points across various AI models, each with a specific point cost per message generated.

New Entry-Level and Premium Plan Details

The newly launched $5 monthly subscription grants users a daily allowance of 10,000 points. For users requiring significantly more, the $250 per month premium tier offers a substantial 12.5 million points. According to the company, this higher-volume plan is particularly beneficial for accessing more resource-intensive AI models, citing examples such as GPT-4.5, OpenAI’s o1-pro, and Google DeepMind’s Veo 2.

Increased Choice in Subscription Options

The introduction of these two additional subscription plans expands the available choices for Poe users, a move the company states is in response to user feedback and demand.

Changes to Previous Plans

Previously, the most economical subscription was priced at $20 per month, which included 1 million points. Poe also maintains a free option, although it limits the number of daily queries users can make.

Platform Accessibility

Poe is accessible across a range of devices, including iOS and Android smartphones, as well as Mac and Windows desktop computers.
