Kanye West flees the US after unhinged rants sparked 'nuclear' war with ex Kim Kardashian

Kanye West Seeks Tranquility in Tokyo Amidst Recent Outbursts

Kanye West, 47, has reportedly traveled to Tokyo following a period of intense social media activity where he clashed with his former wife, Kim Kardashian, regarding the co-parenting of their daughter, North.

Finding Calm in Japan

Sources indicate that the artist, known as ‘Ye’, experienced an immediate sense of calm after a series of controversial and offensive remarks made on social media. Insiders have suggested that while West’s state of mind can become agitated in Los Angeles, he finds a sense of peace and disconnection in Tokyo, described as ‘completely disconnected and calm’.

Co-Parenting Dynamics and Family

West shares four children with Kardashian, 44: daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7; and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5.

Bianca Censori’s Whereabouts

Reports indicate that West’s wife, Bianca Censori, 30, was not with him as of early Monday. Sources noted she had checked out of the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. TMZ reported that Censori, an Australian architect, had spent several days at the Hollywood establishment.

Social Media Reacts to West’s Comments

West’s recent online activity has reportedly created new tensions, particularly after he targeted Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s family. Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles, commented to TMZ that ‘People pay a price for being reckless, especially in the music industry,’ expressing hope that West receives necessary mental health support.

Sources told Page Six that the high-profile couple, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, are allegedly in discussions about addressing the situation, potentially through private or legal channels.

Dailymail.com has reached out to Jay-Z’s representatives for comment regarding the situation involving West.

Controversy Over Daughter’s Collaboration and Co-Parenting Views

In a series of posts, West expressed discomfort with a white woman having control over his Black children. These remarks were reportedly triggered by a planned musical collaboration between his daughter North, 11, and rapper Playboi Carti, 28, which West opposes.

‘So Kim obtained the name and likeness rights over my Black children,’ West stated online, reacting to the proposed project.

The controversy stems from West’s objection to a musical collaboration planned between his daughter North, 11, and rapper Playboi Carti, 28. Kim and North pictured at a Lakers game last April in LA

The Grammy-winning artist elaborated, stating, ‘So a white woman has control over the name and likeness of my Black children and then speaks to Carti about featuring my daughter on a song with him.’

West added, criticizing fellow celebrities, ‘[These] celebrities try to manipulate me openly.’

In earlier posts, West clarified his unease about North working with Playboi Carti without his direct involvement.

‘I decided North will not be involved in any songs with Carti,’ West declared. ‘How does it appear that I am excluded from the album, and then he requests vocals from my daughter through Kim?’

He further dismissed industry norms, stating, ‘I don’t care about any of this industry stuff and how it’s a Skims campaign in the first place, and I don’t care about any comments.’

West articulated his beliefs on gender roles in co-parenting, asserting, ‘the man has the primary and ultimate say over his children.’

Previously, he stated on Sunday, ‘the man makes the final decision.’

West also voiced criticism towards Playboi Carti for a perceived lack of collaboration amid recent controversies, recalling his inclusion of Carti on his 2024 hit single “CARNIVAL.”

West conveyed his disapproval regarding Kim’s control over his children’s public image.

West was critical of Playboi Carti for not collaborating with him amidst recent controversies

West asserted that Playboy Carti acted inappropriately by pursuing a collaboration with North behind his back.

West was seen embracing North after her performance in The Lion King’s 30th-anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl last May. The moment was featured on The Kardashians recently.

‘Hey North, your dad gave me my biggest song and co-sign, and I excluded him from my album because of his tweets… oh but North, you’re my niece, I have to use your vocals.’

West accused Playboi Carti of overstepping by contacting Kim Kardashian directly for the collaboration with North: ‘I remained silent about not being on Carti’s album. For him to then approach my ex to ask my daughter to be on a song two days later is unacceptable… nobody will manipulate me.’

West was seen showing affection to North, as featured on Hulu’s “The Kardashians” last month, following her participation in The Lion King’s 30th-anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl last May.

Other family members present to support West and Kardashian’s eldest child included her grandmother Kris Jenner and aunt Kourtney Kardashian, accompanied by her husband Travis Barker, also an established artist.

“Voice for the Voiceless”

West declared himself a voice for the voiceless amidst concerns about contemporary cancel culture.

‘Many people have unspoken thoughts due to fear of cancellation,’ the musician explained. ‘In a strange way, I represent them. Even when my words may seem offensive to them. I speak for everyone simply by speaking.’

Family Tension and Antisemitic Remarks

These contentious statements regarding race follow reports from last month indicating Kim Kardashian is experiencing significant strain with Scott Disick, 41, due to her former husband’s antisemitic comments.

Sources informed Dailymail.com that Disick is displeased with Kardashian’s lack of public condemnation of West’s remarks about Jewish people on her extensive social media platforms.

North, 11, appears to be developing a career in entertainment, following in her father’s footsteps.

West reiterated his stance on gender roles in co-parenting, asserting that ‘the man has the primary and ultimate say over his children.’

The artist known for “Gold Digger” previously stated on Sunday that ‘the man makes the final decision.’

Disick, who shares three children with Kim’s older sister Kourtney, 45, ‘was raised Jewish and is deeply angered by Kim’s failure to denounce Kanye West’s hateful antisemitic remarks,’ a source disclosed to Dailymail.com.

The source continued, ‘Disick is beyond frustrated with Kanye and feels personally insulted by his attacks on the Jewish community.’

Antisemitism Controversy and Yeezy Website

West has faced ongoing controversy throughout the year due to a barrage of social media posts promoting antisemitism.

On February 11, Shopify deactivated the online store for West’s Yeezy brand, advertised during the Super Bowl, after it featured a white shirt with a black swastika design.

These tweets followed Dailymail.com’s report that his recent remarks have caused serious family issues for his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 44, with Scott Disick, 41, who is Jewish.

Scott Disick, who has three children with Kim’s older sister Kourtney, 45, ‘was raised Jewish and is deeply angered by Kim’s failure to denounce Kanye West’s hateful anti-Semitic remarks.’

West addressed the controversy in a series of tweets on February 20, even suggesting wearing the swastika shirt onstage at the Super Bowl.

‘Next year, I plan to perform at the Super Bowl wearing my little T-shirt,’ he posted. ‘Affluent individuals purchased my little t-shirt.’

He added that Shopify ‘restored [his] account’ after the initial shutdown due to the shirt controversy but indicated he ‘would not be using it.’

ADL and CyberWell Condemn Swastika Shirt

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued a statement on February 10, saying, ‘As if further evidence of Kanye’s antisemitism were needed, he chose to feature a single item on his website – a t-shirt emblazoned with a swastika.’

‘Compounding this, the t-shirt is labeled on Kanye’s website as “HH-01,” which is understood as code for “Heil Hitler.”‘, the ADL stated. ‘Kanye has been relentlessly tweeting vile antisemitism since last week. There is no justification for this behavior.’

The organization further noted, ‘Even more concerning, Kanye advertised his website during the Super Bowl, extending its reach beyond his already massive social media presence.’

Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, founder and executive director of CyberWell, an online anti-Semitism watchdog, told Dailymail.com on February 11 that her organization intervened to have the page removed.

West, in a series of tweets last month, suggested wearing his controversial Yeezy swastika shirt onstage at the Super Bowl next year.

The Anti-Defamation League publicly responded to the shirt in a statement posted on X/Twitter last month.

‘CyberWell contacted Shopify’s compliance and safety teams to report the blatant abuse of Shopify’s services by yeezy.com, which violated their terms of use,’ Cohen Montemayor explained.

Montemayor stated that ‘Shopify’s team responded swiftly and decisively by removing yeezy.com’s “shop” for disseminating antisemitic content.’

Cohen Montemayor commended Shopify for its action, stating, ‘This level of leadership and accountability should be expected from ALL social media platforms and digital service CEOs.’

Cohen Montemayor emphasized, ‘When someone flagrantly misuses your platform or services to spread hate with impunity, they must be stopped.’

Cohen Montemayor also noted that ‘GoDaddy, which provides domain services for yeezy.com, is also in direct violation of its terms of service regarding the Swastika T-Shirt shop and would do well to follow suit and relinquish rights to the domain.’

Van Lathan’s Critique

Podcaster Van Lathan, known for his heated exchange with West in the TMZ newsroom in May 2018, criticized the rapper’s latest series of tweets on February 20, labeling him ‘the slow kid in the Black community’s class.’

‘I’m glad you’re wealthy,’ Lathan wrote. ‘Money appears to be your only concern. Money is great, and you can achieve much with it. Sincerely, we need it as a community.’

‘However, something more valuable than money is people. I am certain you would agree no amount of money can measure North’s laughter, and you would spend all your wealth to bring back your mother. I would for my father, whom I lost in ‘21.’

Podcaster Van Lathan, who famously clashed with West in a heated discussion in the TMZ newsroom in May 2018, criticized the rapper’s tweets February 20

Lathan suggested West is ‘trapped in an infant’s world, where [he] can be irresponsible and reckless, and people excuse it due to affection.’

‘We recognize this and attempt to ignore you until the child picks up something dangerous like Nazism or domestic abuse, then we must childproof things until you cease crying.’

Lathan, co-host of the podcast “Higher Learning” with Rachel Lindsay, continued, ‘You’re correct about one thing, I am enslaved to capitalism. We all are. We must work.’

‘But no one is more enslaved than the person who values money over dignity. No one. So, I will remain a slave, and you will remain what you are, which is the slow kid in the Black community’s class. Keep eating boogers, Kanye.’
