Romance Rumors Swirl Around Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels and USC’s JuJu Watkins
Speculation of a budding romance is circulating around Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and University of Southern California (USC) basketball standout JuJu Watkins.
The NFL player and the Trojans’ basketball leader were seen together in Los Angeles following USC’s victory against UNC Greensboro.
Daniels was previously observed attending the Mississippi State versus Cal game, which determined USC’s opponent for a spot in the Sweet 16.
Courtside Appearance Fuels Speculation
Watkins joined Daniels in the crowd at the Glenn Center, sitting next to the celebrated Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Adding fuel to the rumors, Daniels’ mother, Regina Jackson, known for being protective of her son’s public image, was seated between Watkins and Daniels later in the evening.

Mother’s Protective Stance
Jackson has openly stated her son’s single status is to maintain his focus on football. Daniels previously led Washington to the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles, who ultimately won the Super Bowl.
Jackson expressed confidence in her son’s talent, but jokingly voiced concern about ‘girls’ potentially derailing his path to success.
“Girls… them girls. Some girl out here, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall and her mama says, ‘Hey honey, you’re going to be the one to get him,'” Jackson commented on Prime Video’s ‘The Money Game’.
“And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s someone who’s trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels. So thank god he got a mama like me because it ain’t happening.”
Daniels’ Reaction to Mother’s Remarks
Daniels appeared unfazed by his mother’s pronouncements.
“I bet she did say something like that,” remarked the 2023 Heisman Trophy recipient.
Southern California Connection
Both Daniels and Watkins hail from Southern California, despite a five-year age difference between them.
