Beyoncé's Dad Mathew Knowles Addresses Controversial Kanye West Posts

Knowles Family Members Respond to Kanye West’s Controversial Remarks

Family members of Beyoncé are continuing to react to recent controversial online posts made by Kanye West.

Mathew Knowles Voices Concern Over West’s Words

Mathew Knowles, father of the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer Beyoncé, has publicly addressed Kanye West’s recent controversial remarks. This follows West’s use of offensive language towards Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, in online posts from three days prior.

In an interview with TMZ, published March 21st, the family patriarch stated, “Individuals face consequences for foolish actions, particularly within the music industry.”

Concerns for West’s Mental Wellbeing Raised

Expanding on his views, Mathew Knowles also expressed worry about the mental wellbeing of the “Gold Digger” artist.

“I am hopeful Kanye receives the necessary support,” he added, “regarding his mental health.”

While Mathew Knowles’ remarks were direct, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, offered a more subtle reaction. Earlier in the week, amid the ongoing controversy, she shared a video clip presenting what she termed a “corny joke.”

In the Instagram post dated March 19th, Tina Knowles, who is also the grandmother of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, posed the question: “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum?” before providing the punchline, “He has a meltdown.”
