Distress Grows as Search for Marcus Freiberger Continues
The father of Marcus Freiberger, along with friends and yoga students, are urgently seeking information regarding his whereabouts, according to reports from Fox 10 Phoenix. The disappearance of the well-regarded yoga teacher has prompted increased worry.
Father Suspects Foul Play in Yoga Teacher’s Disappearance
Freiberger’s father described his son as “liked by friends” and “ambitious.” He indicated uncertainty about whether his son actually met with anyone on the night he disappeared. However, he voiced suspicions of “foul play,” particularly noting that Freiberger’s dog, Thomas, was left unattended for days after he went missing.
“There’s no reason for him to vanish… Even if he decided to travel, he would have contacted a friend to care for Thomas. This leads me to believe something more serious is occurring, possibly foul play,” Freiberger’s father stated to 12 News.

Background on Missing Phoenix Yoga Instructor
Reports indicate Freiberger had recently started working at a yoga studio and quickly gained popularity among students. His father mentioned that Freiberger was between residences when he disappeared and had previously faced challenges with substance abuse and financial instability.
Despite past difficulties, his father emphasized that Freiberger appeared to be making positive strides. He maintained a strong social network and gave no indication of wanting to disappear willingly.
“Typically, Marcus would call his mother… He enjoyed video calls and would contact her every few days. Then suddenly, the calls ceased,” Freiberger’s father told 12 News.
