Danny Dyer names his favourite songs – including a classic Oasis tune

Danny Dyer has shared his top tunes, and it won’t be a surprise to find a famous indie band amongst his favourites. The Eastenders actor and West Ham fan has revealed his go-to playlist he turns to while learning lines. Best known for his role as Mick Carter in EastEnders and his role in cult films like The Football Factory and Human Traffic, Danny has carved out a unique spot in British pop culture.

But beyond his on-screen persona, he has a deep love for music that reflects his roots and personality. From Britpop classics to anthemic rock tunes, his taste in music is as bold and unfiltered as he is.

Danny revealed one of his favourites is Columbia by Oasis, he said: “I’ve got to put some Oasis in here. I was born in the 70s but the 90s was my era for music. Columbia is my favourite Oasis tune.”

But this isn’t the only popular song he listed, the actor also said Fire by Kasabian is another on his playlist.

The actor said: “Kasabian are very good pals of mine and Fire is my favourite tune that they’ve done. A song like this starts to get the brain going and active.”

Also featured on the list is My Generation by The Who, Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones and Unfinished Sympathy by Massive Attack.

Danny shared the songs with West Ham United as part of a flashback Spotify playlist.
