Brit missing in Italy as family 'obviously worried' with no sign since Monday

A frantic search is in progress for a missing Brit who disappeared in Naples, Italy. Robert John Cadger flew to Italy on Saturday, March 8 for a four-day football-themed holiday.

The 47-year-old attended the Napoli v Fiorentina match with two friends before venturing alone to Pompeii on Monday, March 10. He was scheduled to return to Scotland the next day but failed to show up for his flight.

The last known sighting of Robert, also known as Bob, was in Pompeii. Since then, the Sterling native has not been seen or heard from.

His family, now fearing the worst, revealed that the Aberdeen FC fan vanished without his bank card. Robert’s phone has also been switched off since Tuesday.

His brother, Euan, told the Record: “Bob went on holiday to Italy and was due home on Tuesday. He has not returned home and nobody has heard from him since Monday. We are obviously very worried.
