Two all-time great video games are less than £6 in amazing discount deal

Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor and its sequel Shadow of War are two of the best action games in recent memory, thanks in no small part to the superb Nemesis system.

This unique gameplay mechanic makes things more interesting by having enemies remember previous encounters with the player.

For example, if you flee from an Orc early in the game, the same Orc will taunt you for being a coward if you encounter them again later. Likewise, another Orc may be sporting an injury from a previous fight and will be determined to get revenge.

The Middle-earth games are well worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of Lord of the Rings, not to mention this unbelievable discount on Steam.

Running until 5pm GMT on March 13, the latest Steam deal means fans can pick up a bundle containing both Middle-earth games for just £5.99.

That’s less than £6 for two action games that have Steam user scores of 89% and 92%.

The Middle-earth bundle also contains the Shadow of War expansion pass and Shadow of Mordor game of the year upgrade.

The game of the year upgrade entitles Shadow of Mordor users to the Bright Lord expansion, which adds Celebrimbor as a playable character.

That’s on top of new character skins for lead character Talion, as well as additional in-game battles.

The Shadow of War Expansion Pass features new story content such as The Desolation of Mordor DLC.

The Desolation of Mordor lets users play as a new character named Baranor, who is a Captain of the Tower from Minas Ithil.

“Rendezvous with Torvin, the epic Dwarven Hunter who traveled deep into the Desolation of Mordor pursuing the legendary Were-wyrms,” reads the official description.

“Baranor is an exceptional Commander with new Skills and Abilities to lead his men into battle against the Orc forces.”

A separate story expansion lets you play as a warror of Galadriel, complete with new powers and combat style.
