Sir Rod Stewart made his eagerly awaited return to the stage as part of his North American One Last Time Tour, which kicked off in Austin on Friday (March 7). The iconic rocker was flooded with support as he delighted fans with a heartwarming duet alongside his daughter Ruby, 37.
During the sweet moment, the duo performed his 1988 hit Forever Young, and danced together during the Austin live show. As Ruby took a solo, the 80-year-old looked incredibly proud of the daughter he shares with Kelly Emberg as he shared the touching moment on Instagram. Alongside a clip of their duet, Rod captioned: “My dear friends in Austin… What a stunning night. You all knocked me off my feet.
“Such enthusiasm and thank you for making my daughter @rubystewart part of the party ….love ya,” the musician added.
Elated fans rushed to the comments with praise as one penned: “Wow this is a beautiful song and having Ruby sing with her Dad is precious.”
A second fan echoed: “So great to see the family on stage together again. Super duet.”

The 30-year-old hockey player and his wife Nicole already share a son, Louie, who is 21 months old, and they took to Instagram on Monday to introduce their new arrival.
Announcing their new arrival, Nicole wrote: “Elsie Skylar Stewart. Our sweet little pea born 03/02/25,” and revealed her name was a sweet nod to Rod’s mother Elsie Gilbart, who died in 1996 at the age of 91.
Rod’s first wife and the mother of his children Kimberly, Ashley and Sean, Alana Hamilton Stewart commented: “Congratulations!! She’s beautiful!”
As the singer’s current wife, Penny Lancaster “So adorable, can’t wait to meet Louie’s little sister Elsie.”
