Top 10 classic cars set to rise in value in 2024 with Ford, Ferrari and Jaguar listed

1981 – 1986 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler

Hagerty describes this machine as a “love child” between the Jeep CJ-7 and a pickup truck but just 30,000 models were ever sold.

However, the Jeep was given the celebrity seal of approval with Ronald Reagan using one to maintain his ranch.

The rare and collectable 4×4 can be secured on the classic car market for just over £32,500 ($41,400).

Hagerty Auto Intelligence said: “Off-roaders have been some of the hottest vehicles on the market in recent years.

“The Scrambler, given its distinctive configuration and rarity relative to regular Jeeps, has room to continue growing.”

2000 – 2005 Jaguar XKR

The beautiful exterior and elegance of the Jaguar name are matched with a rapid output.

The car has previously been clocked to reach 60mph in a staggering 5.2 seconds.

Models can now be picked up for just over £15,000 ($20-,000) despite hitting the market for over £67,000 ($85,000) when new 20 years ago.

1964 – 1966 Ford Thunderbird

The Thunderbird is vintage 1960s and one of the most stylish cars on Hagerty’s 2024 list.

The V8 engine comes with 300 horsepower but the heavy chassis means the machine is not quick to blast off the line.

It will take a staggering 11 seconds to reach 60 mph but speed doesn’t matter when you’re cruising in style.

Many younger buyers have been priced out of seducing Lincoln Continentals meaning Thunderbird prices could increase.

Experts said the models can now be picked up for around £32,600 ($41,300).

Hagerty has also listed the stunning 1997 – 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution on their 2024 watch list.

The model is considered a sought-after gem among rally fans due to the vehicle’s appearance at the famous Paris Dakar Rally.

1997 – 2002 Plymouth Prowler, 1946 – 1950 Chrysler Town & Country and 1965 – 1970 Chevrolet Impala SS are also on the top 10 list.
