Princess Kate is reportedly leaving the hopes of a reconciliation with her brother and sister-in-law behind her in the new year.
A source told People that the 41-year-old, and her husband Prince William, have “moved on” from the drama with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and “aren’t looking back”.
They claimed as the new year approaches, along with Kate’s birthday on January 9th, she is looking to put the ambitions of the royal family and her husband first.
The new insights come after a controversial festive season for the royal family following the release of Endgame earlier this month.
Omid Scobie’s new bombshell book described the Princess of Wales as “cold” and unwelcoming when Meghan was trying to adjust to royal life.

The book also came under fire when an error in the Dutch translation named two senior royals who allegedly took part in the conversation about the potential skin colour of Prince Harry and Meghan’s children.
Kate has been applauded for her “strategic thinking” as tensions rose to a pique over the last few years between the royal family and Meghan and Harry, starting with their infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021.
This was the first time the Sussexes made the allegations regarding Prince Archie’s skin colour, and in response to the interview Buckingham Palace released a statement highlighting that “some recollections may vary”.
Royal author Valentine Low claimed in his book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown that Kate played a pivotal role in wording the statement and especially pushed for this specific phrase.
The author told People that the Princess’ “innocuous” public image is in contrast to her will to “fight for what she wants and what she thinks is right”.
He highlighted: “She is going to be queen one day and has the long-term interests of the monarchy and royal family at heart.”
Within the Windsor household, Kate is also reportedly working hard to carve out a “special place” for herself as royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told the outlet.
Throughout her 22-year-long romance with Prince William, the mother-of-three has earned her position in the public eye as a fashion trailblazer, most recently leading her family into Westminster Abbey for the carol service in a jaw-dropping all-white ensemble.
