A horror shark attack has left a teenager dead after he was mauled at a popular Australian beach.
The teenage boy’s body was pulled from the water near Ethel Beach in the Innes National Park on Thursday.
According to reports, police are currently on the scene and preparing a coroner report.
The boy is believed to have been swimming at the beach at approximately 1.30pm local time.
However, he soon encountered the beast – with shark sightings in the water common along Marion Bay, inside the park.

According to the Daily Mirror, a local fisherman said: “We’ve seen some pretty big bronzies in the area, but that’s normal here… I went to take the boat out and the road to Ethel’s was blocked by rangers.
“There’s no cell reception out there in the park so we didn’t know what had happened until we got back to Marion Bay.”
