Pregnant teen vanishes hours before scheduled induction

A nine-month pregnant Texas teen was reported missing over the weekend when she failed to show up at the hospital for her scheduled induction – and her boyfriend is also allegedly off the grid.

Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, was last seen at her apartment complex in Leon Valley on Friday, her mother, Gloria Cordova, told KHOU11.

Cordova became concerned the next day, when Soto failed to show up at the hospital for her scheduled induction.

“I went by [their apartment] and knocked and knocked and knocked and she wasn’t answering. We got to the hospital. They said she wasn’t there,” Cordova said of the moment she realized her daughter was missing.

“Savanah was so, so happy because she was going to be a mommy. It breaks my heart,” Cordova said.

Soto was living with her boyfriend, 22-year-old Matthew Guerra, at the time of her disappearance, KENS5 said, citing the teen’s family.

Guerra’s whereabouts are also unknown.

Soto’s sister-in-law posted a series of Facebook updates in which she accused Guerra of being “abusive,” though these reports also could not be confirmed.

“i won’t allow you to be one of those statistics of what happens when u have an abusive boyfriend,” one emotional tribute read alongside several photos of Soto.

“i won’t allow this to be your story. this isn’t where this ends. your baby is supposed to be ur beginning mama. your realization to leave for the safety of you and your baby boy. come home vanah just find your way home,” the worried relative wrote.

Guerra’s mother, however, shared her own since-deleted post that read “i know my son and he wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.”

Soto is over a week past her due date, Soto’s grandmother, Rachel Soto, told KENS5.

“It’s not normal, something’s not adding up here. I want answers, we all want answers,” she said.

Leon Valley Police attempted to get into Soto’s apartment on Monday, but were unsuccessful, KENS5 reported.

The officer stayed on the scene and spoke to the family for several minutes.

Guerra’s mother posted about her son on Facebook, but later took the post down. TikTok

The Leon Valley Police Department did not immediately return The Post’s request for a comment on Soto’s disappearance or to confirm if Guerra was also considered missing.

Soto’s sister-in-law posted a series of Facebook updates in which she accused Guerra of being “abusive,” though these reports also could not be confirmed.

Soto’s mom, Gloria Cordova, is also mourning the death of her 15-year-old son. KENS5

“She’s a beautiful girl, she’s a beautiful heart. She’ll help anyone and I want someone to help us,” Rachel Soto told KENS5 of her missing granddaughter.

Soto’s mother is also searching for her daughter and unborn grandchild while grieving the loss of another child, she told KHOU11.

“It’s hard, it’s like one after another,” Gloria Cordova said about the death of her 15-year-old son last year.

“It still hurts because what I tell my kids, I’m not complete, I’m not complete, and now I don’t have my daughter,” she said.

“Please come home. No one’s going to judge you. No one is going to say nothing. I just want you to be home,” she pleaded with her daughter.
