Micah Hamilton scores his first Man City goal on his senior debut as the 20-year-old fires Pep Guardiola's side ahead in Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade

20-year-old Micah Hamilton will forever remember his Manchester City debut after scoring a stunning goal for Pep Guardiola’s side against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The youngster has progressed through the childhood academy ranks at City and was finally handed his first-team debut in Serbia for the club’s final group stage game.

City manager Guardiola made a host of changes with the reigning European champions already qualified for the next round of the Champions League, with Hamilton getting the nod to start on the wing.

Holding his run on the right-wing, Hamilton was played into space by Matheus Nunes and took a touch before rounding the opposing defender and smashing his shot into the roof of the net.

Red Star goalkeeper Omri Glazer stretched helplessly to get a hand to the powerful shot, with City players and coaching staff on the bench rising to celebrate the rising star’s first senior goal.
