The loss was Liverpool’s first of the top-flight season, bringing to a halt an excellent start to the season by Klopp’s new-look Reds. Another difficult domestic trip to Brighton will come with its challenges. Liverpool will need to put last week’s game to the back of their minds.
Here is how Express Sport expects Liverpool to line-up with three changes from last Saturday.
Goalkeeper: Alisson
Alisson is Liverpool’s undisputed No 1 and even got a rare Europa League outing on Thursday night with Caoimhin Kelleher injured. A routine clean sheet against Union Saint-Gilloise will have pleased the Brazilian.
Defenders: Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been eased back to full fitness after a hamstring problem. He was used as a substitute in the defeat by Spurs and started the win over USG before being taken off.
Joel Matip will hope to overcome his late own goal against Spurs. Ibrahima Konate is waiting in the wings for a start.
Midfielders: Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai
Klopp must rejig his midfield after Curtis Jones’s red card. Liverpool were unsuccessful in their appeal against the 22-year-old’s sending-off against Spurs, meaning he will miss their next three matches.
Ryan Gravenberch could make his first Premier League start. The Dutchman could occupy the deeper midfield position, allowing Alexis Mac Allister to push into a more advanced role against his former club.
Attackers: Salah, Nunez, Diaz
Klopp has made a point of rotating Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo in the opening weeks of the season. Nunez has been in fine form when he has started, although missed a sitter in the Europa League on Thursday, somehow missing the target from six yards.
Gakpo will miss Brighton’s visit to Anfield after hobbling off against Spurs. Klopp hopes that the forward will be back after the international break, but it will allow Nunez a prolonged run in the team.
The Uruguayan will be flanked by Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz.
