Davina McCall was forced to put out a blaze after her barbecue caught fire.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday the presenter shared further details about the incident as she explained excess fat was the cause.
Davina, 55, admitted “all hell broke loose” as the nightmare made her totally forget she was supposed to be doing an interview with a doctor about womb cancer.
She captioned the video, saying: “Apologies to @drnighatarif. I’m horrified xxx it was nice to chat tho.” (sic)
Explaining what took place the ex-Big Brother presenter shared: “I thought I’d come on to apologise to Nighat because I was supposed to be doing a live with Nighat and we were going to concentrate on womb cancer and the worries that some people might have around oestrogen and the connection to womb cancer.”

Davina went on: “We basically are doing a barbecue here tonight but I don’t have Michael.
“He said to me, ‘Turn on the barbecue for a few minutes, let the fat soften, scrape it to the back, then let the barbecue cool down and take it and get rid of the fat and then you can start cooking.’
“I forgot to go back to the barbecue and it caught on fire and all hell broke loose and I forgot.”
She told her 1.6 million followers: “So, just to let you know, we put out the fire and it was all fine.
“It was all hands on deck and we were very calm and considered about it but it completely distracted me and I totally forgot about the live with Nighat at five thirty.”
Dr Nighat Sharif responded in the comments, writing: “Awwww my love – it’s completely ok, you were literally putting out a fire!
“IG Lives can wait in that circumstance. We rescheduled soon and chat Ostrogen & Womb cancer and my new book!!!!! LOVE YOU babe.”
However, this was not the last of Davina’s woes as she took to the picture-sharing site and revealed she also broke her toe yesterday.
Sharing a picture while she worked out, the host wrote: Broke my toe yesterday [sick emoji] and yoga didn’t hurt it … so we did a family yoga session at home on @ownyourgoalsdavina with @concretejungleyoga. One of my girls found it very emotional and it was exactly what I needed (always is).”
The on-screen star was inundated with messages as social media users offered their well wishes.
