Former Manchester United player David Beckham poked fun at his fashion-conscious wife Victoria, as he debuted his new buzzcut on a family holiday in Italy.
The star, 48, whose dramatic haircuts became infamous during his time as a professional footballer, unveiled his new look while relaxing on a yacht in the sun.
David took to his Instagram Stories to reveal his shaved head, while joking that it was “a little late” for his other half to object to the transformation.
He shared a selfie with the ocean in the background, alongside the cheeky caption: “Summer Cut @Victoriabeckham do u approve? A little late if not.”
However, David didn’t stop there, as he went on to accuse Victoria, 49, of pinching his straw hat.

Snapping a photo of the fashion designer shielding her face with the accessory on the luxury boat, David wrote: “@victoriabeckham That’s my hat.”
After teasing Victoria, David shared further glimpses into the family’s European getaway.
In one snap, the dad-of-four could be seen larking about with his 18-year-old son Cruz, as they leaned over the edge of their yacht in a Superman inspired pose.
He then posted a photo of his 12-year-old daughter Harper at a restaurant, lamenting that she was “growing up too fast”.
David also took the opportunity to show off his athletic physique while sunbathing.
The Inter Miami CF owner flaunted his tattoos in just a pair of bright green Adidas shorts.
The star wore a pair of sunglasses as he topped up his tan on the Italian coast.
It comes after David recently shared regret over his decision to wear cornrows while at the height of his Man United heyday.
David was pictured sporting the tight braids to meet South African president Nelson Mandela back in 2003.
“People ask if I have any regrets about my hairstyles and while I don’t regret any of them, I do sort of regret the cornrows,” he told The Sun.
