'Absolutely delicious' brownies use just three-ingredients including vinegar – recipe

Brownie recipes can be found in abundance online so it’s hard to know which ones are worth trying.

But for those looking to keep it as simple as possible, a food and flavour expert has shared the “easiest” recipe that requires just three ingredients.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, food and flavour expert and founder of The Gift of Oil, Phil Bianchi said: “Three ingredient recipes are not only more time efficient, but they’re also a great way to explore different food combinations, without losing other flavours.

“Using just three ingredients allows you to taste each ingredient, which, unlike other recipes with lots of ingredients, flavours can sometimes get lost in the process of cooking, due to other ingredients being more overpowering.”

He claimed that the recipe is ideal for a “simple dessert”, and the end result is bound to taste “absolutely delicious”.

Method

For the best brownies, preparation is key. Start by lining a medium-sized, square baking dish with a little butter and some parchment paper. Then, preheat the oven to 190C.

Move onto the mixture by whisking four large eggs together in a bowl until the yolks and whites are combined.

It’s important to whip lots of air into the liquid at this point for the fluffiest, moistest brownies once cooked.

Next, melt the chocolate spread in a microwave-safe bowl until it is silky and smooth. Pour this into the bowl with the eggs, scraping the bowl to get every last drop of the spread.

Whisk quickly to form a smooth liquid, then transfer into the prepared baking dish and cook for 25 to 30 minutes until crisp on top, and gooey in the middle.

The batter should be slightly raw inside, but not too moist when fully cooked. Leave the brownies to cool and then drizzle with the infused vinegar for the final touch.

Phil added: “Sometimes it’s just the simplest of meals that can have the best outcome, that’s why three-ingredient recipes are always good to try!”
