Zara Tindall showed serious skill with walking in heels on snowy Christmas Day in 2009

Zara Tindall, 42, wowed fans when she showed up at Sandringham in 2009 wearing a pair of Buffalo London Fringe Buckle Ankle Boots on Christmas Day.

The daughter of Princess Anne wore six-inch heeled ankle boots, which looked incredibly difficult to walk in.

The shoes are no longer in stock, so it is unclear how much they cost at the time of purchase.

The black boots featured gold studs and black fringe tassels along the front, which were very trendy in the late 2000s.

Christmas Day in 2009 was incredibly snowy, making Zara’s heels an even more dangerous prospect.

She could be seen gripping different family members’ arms for support, including Prince William, Prince Harry, and Autumn Phillips.

Zara has not worn these heels since, therefore, it would be exciting if the mother of three stepped out wearing them at some point soon.

To go with these shoes, Zara wore a Karen Millen Elegant Crepe Coat, which she has also not worn since 2009.

The wool number was royal blue and puffy towards the bottom, which almost made it look like a dress.

In addition, Zara opted for a Mulberry “Clemmie” clutch, which she still owns, having carried it as recently as 2018.

The black suede clutch bag featured a fold-over flap front, light-gold hardware, and an internal zip-fastening pocket.

Although no longer in stock, the same clutch bag can be purchased for around Β£350 on eBay.

To further accessorise, Zara opted for a sculpted hat, designed by the popular royal hatmaker, Philip Treacy.

Mr Treacy has designed iconic hats for the Royal Family, including Queen Camilla’s wedding hat and Princess Beatrice’s masterpiece that she wore to Kate and William’s 2011 nuptials.

Zara married Mike Tindall in 2011, and the couple now shares three children: Mia, nine, Lena, five, and Lucas, two.

The married couple of 12 years live in Aston Farm on the Gatcombe Park estate, and continue to attend Sandringham each year for Christmas.

In 2022, Zara stunned in aΒ grey coat from L.K Bennett and a hat from Juliette Botterill. She paired the outfit with a burgundy patent handbag and burgundy pumps.
