Elon Musk says he’ll show up at Mark Zuckerberg’s doorstep in a Tesla to fight as billionaire trash talk continues

Elon Musk said he plans to show up on Mark Zuckerberg’s doorstep ready to fight Monday night after the Meta CEO told him it was time to give up on their months-long trash talk over a proposed battle.

Musk, owner of X formerly known as Twitter, said he will direct a self-driving Tesla car to drive him to Zuckerberg’s Palo Alto home where he will propose a fight.

“For the Tesla FSD test drive in Palo Alto tonight, I will ask the car to drive to @finkd’s house,” he tweeted Monday. “… If we get lucky and Zuck my 👅 actually answers the door, the fight is on!”

Musk — who also owns the electric car company Telsa — added that he’d livestream the “adventure” in real time on X.

However, Zuckerberg won’t be home Monday night since he’s currently traveling, his spokesperson told The Verge.

“Also, Mark takes this sport seriously and isn’t going to fight someone who randomly shows up at his house,” the spox Iska Saric added.

A day earlier, Zuckerberg said it was finally time to push pause on the back-and-forth talk but no action since Musk, he said, failed to commit to a date for the proposed cage match.

“I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on,” the Facebook founder wrote on his new X-alternative platform Threads Sunday.

Zuckerberg, 39, said UFC President Dana White had offered to make the match a “legit competition” to raise money for charity but accused Musk of making up excuses like needing surgery.

“If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me,” he wrote. “Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”

The ongoing brouhaha between the social media giants has seeped into personal conversations between the men in addition to their public spats.

Musk, 52, recently leaked a purported text exchange between himself and Zuckerberg.

In the texts, Zuckerberg reportedly said he didn’t want to keep hyping something that would never happen and advised Musk to either commit to a match date or let it go.

Musk first challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match in June. Zuckerberg, who trains in jujitsu, quickly accepted the challenge but the only fighting that’s happened since has taken place via social media taunts.
