Sandra Bullock has been mourning the loss of her longtime boyfriend Bryan Randall, who died on Aug. 5 after a private fight with ALS.
However, the photographer’s untimely death at the age of 57 from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) has spurred a 500% increase in donations to the ALS Association.
The Oscar winner, 59, and her family had previously asked that “in lieu of flowers, please donate to ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital.”
The organization told TMZ that contributions have skyrocketed since Randall’s passing.
“We’re grateful for the amazing outpouring of support in honor of Bryan. The money pouring in will help our urgent work to make ALS a livable disease through local care, national advocacy, and global ALS research,” the foundation revealed to the publication.

Bullock and Randall’s family shared in a statement on Saturday the tragic news of his death.
“It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5th Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a 3 year battle with ALS,” they noted.

“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request. We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” they wrote.
The “Blind Side” actress had been dating Randall since January 2015, after he photographed her son Louis’ birthday party.
They began a relationship shortly after the bash and made their red carpet debut as a couple that same year at the premiere of her film “Our Brand Is Crisis.”

The “Crash” actress had gushed over Randall, calling him a “saint’ and the “love of her life” months before he passed.
In a resurfaced “Red Table Talk” interview from late 2021, she candidly divulged to hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris: “He’s the example that I would want my children to have.”

Bullock is a mom to son Louis, 13 and daughter Laila, 11. Randall was also a father to an adult daughter, Skylar, from a past relationship.
“I’m a bulldozer. My life was already on the track, and here’s this beautiful human being who doesn’t want anything to do with my life but the right human being to be there,” she said.
