NCIS fans gush at unexpected reunion as Daniela Ruah shares cute snaps from SAG protest

The NCIS universe officially collided with stars from all four of the dramas joined forces on the SAG-AFTRA strike picket line.

NCIS Los Angeles’ Kensi Blye actress Daniela Ruah took to Instagram to share a surprising but joyful moment during the protest in Los Angeles.

She, along with stars from the other three NCIS shows, posed for a series of pictures, all dressed in SAG-AFTRA T-shirts, and smiling from ear to ear.

Ruah, 39, can be seen with NCIS’ Jimmy Palmer star Brian Dietzen, NCIS Hawaii actors Vanessa Lachey and Kian Talan, as well as NCIS New Orleans’ CCH Pounder and Scott Bakula.

In other pictures, she is also pictured next to various writers and producers from the franchise.

“Saw so many people I have loved for over 14 years coming together again in strength.”

The original CBS police procedural has been going strong for the past two decades and made way for three spin-offs – which won their own individual legion of fans.

Most recently, NCIS Hawaii was launched in 2021 – just months after viewers said goodbye to NCIS New Orleans after seven seasons.

It was then NCIS Los Angeles’ turn to go with the first-ever NCIS spin-off coming to an end 14 years after it was first brought to life.

Despite only two of the four series still airing, the show’s popularity remains with fans thrilled to see some of its stars from all of the NCIS shows gathered in one place.

One fan wrote: “I’m proud of you Dani keep fighting, it’s good to see the NCIS familia come together to fight the good fight.”

Another ecstatic user commented: “Wow, I see NCIS, NCIS LA, NCIS NEW ORLEANS AND NCIS HAWAII together united. Way to go.”

Whereas a third added: “I loved to see how the #NCISLAFamilia and the #NCISVerse came together”.

Thousands are lining the streets in America to show their support for the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA writers’ strikes that have been happening since last month.

While the strikes have meant Hollywood coming to a standstill, with further work on shows and films postponed, it has seen a lot of famous faces coming out in full force.

Unfortunately, the strikes also mean that the wait until the remaining NCIS shows’ comebacks will be longer than expected.

Season 21 and season three of NCIS and NCIS Hawaii were slated to return in the fall but this is looking less likely as the strikes continue.

If negotiations are not agreed soon, it could be that viewers could have to wait until next year for the new series to begin.

The NCIS franchise is available to watch on CBS.
