Charlize Theron’s stuntwoman marries Chris Hemsworth’s stuntman: ‘Best life’

Seeing doubles!

In a fantasy world, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth got married — but in real life, it was actually their stunt doubles who tied the knot this year after meeting on set.

Aurélia Agel Howell, 25, plays Theron’s stunt double in “Fast X” and the upcoming “The Old Guard 2.” She met her new husband, Justin Howell, 34, filming the Paramount+ series “Halo.”

Justin was the stunt double for Hemsworth in “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “Extraction 2,” per IMDb.

“It’s not easy to be with [a] stunt person, but as we are both in the same line of work, we both know the challenges,” Aurélia told SWNS. “You understand each other and each other’s mad schedules.”

Aurélia didn’t start off as a stunt double, instead training at a culinary school in the south of France when she was 18.

After three years, she realized martial arts — not restaurant work — was her true passion.

She believed a career as a stunt double was definitely something she could handle, as she has a black belt in taekwondo, and she is also proficient in judo, karate, and boxing.

Aurélia landed her first gig as a double in a short film just a few weeks after relocating to Paris.

“I trained a lot for two years and did some more movies in France — ‘Le juge est une femme’ and ‘Anna,’” she told SWNS.

“My first movie outside of France was in Berlin, where I doubled as Karen Gillan in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ 3,” she said about the part that cemented her status in the stunt industry.

Aurélia was also the main stuntwoman playing a widow in the 2021 film “Black Widow” and a stuntwoman in the recently released “John Wick: Chapter 4.”

Though glamorous, it’s a job that comes with its fair share of risks — four years ago, she sprained her shoulder while filming a car crash scene.

She also doesn’t get to see friends or family very often, due to the jet-setting nature of her work.

“It’s a big sacrifice, but it’s been good for me. I live my best life because my passion is my job,” she admitted.

As for Theron, 47, she has been linked to model Alex Dimitrijevic in recent months, while Hemsworth, 39, has been married to model Elsa Pataky, 47, since 2010.
